Definitely one of our favorites. This brilliant game can be played from 2 to 4 players. A game where both strategy and luck are needed to win: whoever achieves to move one of their pegs up the board and into the finish place is the champion.
Players throw a dice on their turn and decide to move any of their pegs the number given by it. Moving around the board from their home base to the finish place all the way up the board. But wait! That’s not all. There are barricades dispersed on the board that will block you from going further. These are the white pegs scattered throughout the board and jumping over them is not allowed. So, the only way to pass through them is by landing on them with the exact number of moves that will be given by the dice. For example, if you have a peg one space before a barricade, then you will have to get a 1 with the dice to be able to pass through. And when you do….then you get to place the barricade in any available space you want.
A-ha! That’s what is fun about it. Block any of your opponents to avoid them from going further. Or perhaps use a barricade to protect you from being blocked or from being chased by an ambitious opponent. It’s your call, and the more you play the more you’ll know what to do on each of your turns.
